Giver of Dreams is a charitable organization devoted to helping children of Honduras overcome the cycle of poverty through education and encouragement to pursue their dreams of a life above privation.
Since 2006, we have provided possibilities not only to the children but also their families and their community as a collective. Remote areas of Honduras are extremely poor and Giver of Dreams offers the chance of an education by providing the necessities to attend school including all school supplies, uniforms...etc. and now even in our own school. The needs, in areas such as Travesia on the North coast, are multilayered. Our work is specifically targeted to nurturing and expanding the educational opportunities and possibilities of this region's youth. Through our program, we aim to provide for their immediate and evolving needs with the goal of seeing each child through, at minimum, a complete secondary education. As well, we work in communion with sister organizations addressing the complementary issues of medical care, housing, and community sustenance. Honduras' public schools are simply not the best so in March 2013 we opened our own school. In addition to the standard curriculum we also teach English and basic Christianity. It is important that our students know and feel God's love in their daily lives. We are very excited about the opportunities and also challenged by all the logistics that come with educating children. Please join our efforts. 100% of your donation goes to the children and is tax-deductible. Working from a grass roots level, every minute of our time is voluntary to allow every penny of your contribution to be used to maximum benefit. We are fully supported by generous donors like you. We have no full-time staff as we are all volunteers. Being a smaller charity, we sincerely hope you will feel compelled to join us in our work. About Us
We are a team of ordinary people with an extra-ordinary commitment to providing possibilities to the children of Honduras, their families and their community as a collective.
Our attachment to this community is personal. After numerous humanitarian visits to the region, working with the families and servicing temporary needs, we realized we could not do this work on a seasonal basis anymore. A week here and there is helpful, but it is a drop in the ocean of what we believe is possible through sustained assistance.

Angel Reyes
Minister Angel was born in the village of Travesia on the north coast of Honduras where G.o.D. currently operates. Since the 1980s Angel has worked actively in guiding the establishment of churches in the area. As a native, Angel has devoted a large part of his life to helping the poor in Honduras. 
Alexandra Robinson Swann
Teacher Joined G.o.D. in 2007. Alexandra has volunteered on every mission trip, and we definitely could not do without her. 
Hayli Henderson Apple
Singer / Actor Joined G.o.D. in 2011. Hayli is one of the most wonderful human beings on this planet. 
Jonathan Apple
Programmer Joined G.o.D. in 2013. Jonathan loves to paint and being covered in paint and proudly wears his Honduran soccer jersey.

Teacher Joined G.o.D. in 2010. Melissa is so much fun, the kids cannot do without her bubble gum. |
Jean-Jacques L'Héritier
Founder / Musician Jean-Jacques has many dreams but seeing poor children is not one of them hence the foundation of the Giver of Dreams. He is so grateful for all the help he gets.

Kyle Swann
Student / Musician Joined G.o.D. in 2013. Kyle is a hard worker but even more so he loves the children and it shows.

Teacher Joined G.o.D. in 2012. Katie has a wonderful heart for the poor and for animals.

Teacher Joined G.o.D. in 2009. Nicole has one of the most contagious laughs and the kids will never let her go. |
